John & Elvia Atherton
Pastors
John and Elvia Atherton accepted Christ together shortly after they were married 50 years ago. From the beginning of their walk with the Lord, they served in various church ministries and took many courses through the years to grow in their faith and leadership abilities. They served as leaders for 43 years at Vibrant Church in South Burlington, VT and were past Vermont School Of Supernatural Ministry Directors.
John and Elvia have a passion to see men and women grow in their identity in Christ. They both love to teach and facilitate groups of believers in learning their giftings. Their goal is to see people become as free as possible to walk in all God has for them for the purpose of building His Kingdom here in Vermont. They embrace a culture of honor that allows people to come together in a risk-free environment to grow in their identity in Christ. They are excited about this season of building a Presence-driven, prophetic culture and community with other like-minded believers.
Elvia is also the author of a book called “One Step Closer” . This book is a very helpful tool in dealing with the death of child, close family member or other casualties of life. Using her journal as the framework for her story, Elvia takes you on her journey from devastation—their young son’s untimely death and it’s aftermath—to a place of healing, acceptance, and resolution. The Atherton’s were both born in Vermont and are Rice High School sweethearts. They live in Shelburne, VT – just a few miles away from their son, daughter-in-law and grandsons.
Dan & Lani Isabelle
Senior Leaders
Lani is a native Vermonter and has been a Christian for almost 40 years. She has a heart for prayer, prodigals, the prophetic and has served in several ministries. She loves to see how the Love of the Father can heal those who are hurting and give them hope.
Dan has known the Lord for 39 years and has served in several ministries throughout the years including: children’s, men’s ministries, intercessor, prayer team and as a Board member. Dan has a heart to bring the churches together as one body and helped create the “Let’s Worship” Events. He loves to serve and believes that bringing churches together will create a community that lets Heaven come to earth. Dan moves in the prophetic and words of knowledge. He loves to see people find their identity in Christ and for them to walk in Freedom for His Glory.
Dan and Lani have been married for 37 years and they have 4 adult children and 2 granddaughters.
Jessica Stoehr
Senior Leader
Jessica Stoehr grew up in Washington State and became a Christ Follower in 2003 while attending Central Washington University. She moved to Vermont in 2010 with a passion to see Vermonters fall in love with their Creator and join together in community to influence their neighborhoods, towns and the world. She served as a pastor to college students for a combined 7 years at Central Washington University and the University of Vermont with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries. As a day job, she works at a local non-profit that helps people with learning challenges. Her giftings include administration, sensitivity and encouragement. She is kind-hearted and always believes the best of people.
